May 2016

All studio art students must enter the Department of Art & Design on the B.A. track;…”  sentence was added by mistake to BFA requirements and was deleted.

ARTA 4202 changed to ARTA 3140.

ALHE 3040 changed from Leading and Developing Interprofessional Healthcare Teams to Interprofessional Allied Health Teams.

Added to ACS Chemistry - take either CHEM 4900 or CHEM 4957 for 3 credits.

BBA Special Admission Requirements add the phrase “prior to being declared PBUS (pre-business) at ETSU” for clarification purposes.

Bachelor of Science in Interior Design was added to NASAD statement in College of Business and Technology.

DIGM 3300 removed from ENTC/PDEV - course ended 201510.


June 2016

Clarification in final grades policy statement: ETSU provides grades to registered students online via GoldLink. Academic departments retain grade documentation for a period of one year. Student concerns regarding academic records, other than the Grade Appeal process described below, will only be addressed within one academic year from the date when the grades in question were posted.  Students wishing to appeal a grade must begin the process within 21 days after the beginning of the next term, excluding summer school.

Graduation Requirement statement changed from: Be enrolled at ETSU for at least two semesters during the junior and senior years, including the last full semester to: Be enrolled at ETSU for at least two semesters during the junior and senior years, including the final semester.

July 2016

ENGR 1110 pre-requisite was changed from MATH 1000 or ACT Math Score 22-36 to college-level math or ACT Math Score 22-36.

Admission Requirements: Our published admission requirement of a minimum of a 19 on the ACT will need to change for the equivalent SAT Score. The old SAT test equivalent to a 910 is now a 980 on the new test.. Director of Admissions changed it to “or equivalent SAT score.”

The name of Environmental Health was changed to Environmental Health Practices.

August 2016

The title of International Studies Minor was changed to International Affairs Minor.

The General Education information became a custom page rather than a link.

In Early Childhood Development Major, B.S. (PreK-Grade 3 Li censure) CUAI 4517 was replaced with PEXS 4451 beginning spring 2017.

November 2016

CSCI 5767- change in prerequisites from (CSCI 2210 or 2910) and (CSCI 3720 or CSCI 5720) to (CSCI 2210 or 2910) and CSCI 3720 beginning spring 2017.

NRSE 4355 - beginning spring 2017, the prerequisite is Admission to the RN to BSN program.

NRSE 3510 - beginning spring 2017, the prerequisite is Prerequisites:1st Semester junior courses; admission to RN to BSN Program.

Construction Engineering students are to take SURV 4957 for 4 credits instead of SURV 2550 since that course has changed and the replacement course for Construction Engineering is not yet available.
