(3 credits) A historical perspective to decisions made by American military leaders from the colonial period through the current operating environment. Will explore the military’s role in society, the evolution of war and the progression of military professionalism, the major wars fought by the United States Army, and the role of the United States military in joint operations and humanitarian operations.
