Education Minor

General Program Information


The Education Minor is required for students seeking licensure with secondary and K-12 teaching fields listed below. Completion of the minor and CUAI 4580 - Directed Student Teaching  (12 hours) completes the professional education requirements for licensure. Students should contact the College of Education Professional Advisor in 321 Warf-Pickel Hall.

Teaching Edu. Minor Requirements: 21-27 Credit Hours


Additional Required Courses: 3-10 Credit Hours


Students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, French, German, Spanish, English, History, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Speech, and Theatre: 7 Credit Hours


Students majoring in Psychology, Sociology, and Health: 4 Credit Hours


Students majoring in Art: 3 Credit Hours
