Student Organization Resource Center (SORC)
|
ETSU’s home for student organizations and campus activities is known as the “SORC.” Short for “Student Organization Resource Center,” the SORC exists to help students get involved on campus! While the office was created to enhance communication, improve collaboration and strengthen student leadership among ETSU’s student organizations, the SORC also works to increase awareness about involvement opportunities and resources available to all ETSU students.
Registered student organizations are welcome to use all of the SORC’s services free of charge.
To find out more about the SORC, visit www.etsu.edu/sorc or call (423) 439-6633.

Graduate and Professional Student Association
|
The Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) of East Tennessee State University is a student-managed organization whose membership is open to all currently enrolled post-baccalaureate degree-seeking students. The primary goal of the GPSA is to provide support and informational services that will encourage all graduate or professional students to: 1) become involved in institutional governance and development; 2) participate in student-sponsored activities; and 3) maximize their potential as students, educators, and researchers. NOTE: Once you are admitted to a graduate program at ETSU you are eligible to be a member of the ETSU Graduate and Professional Student Organization. However, to receive travel awards from the organization, you must submit the official membership form, pay the annual $5 membership fee, and maintain an active status by coming to events and meetings. For further information, please contact the GPSA Advisor, David Moore, mooredr@etsu.edu.
