NRSE 3005 - Dosage Calculations

This course focuses on the necessary steps involved in solving clinically oriented calculations. A basic math review includes number systems, conversion of systems, fractions, decimals, ratio and proportion, and percentage. Methods of dosage calculation are included as a prerequisite to solving practical calculation problems for oral, injectable, and intravenous medications. (fall, spring)
