ECED 5330 - History and Philosophy of Early Childhood Education

The history of early childhood education is examined using a holistic perspective that encompasses a global, contextually based approach. Theoretical and philosophical frameworks are analyzed as a basis for evaluating programs for young children (birth to age eight). (fall)
