NRSE 6513 - Case Management

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: Graduate status or permission of instructor. This course focuses on the current and evolving role of the professional in case management and in the managed care environment. Dimensions of the case management role will be explored through class discussion, oral and written presentation, and expert testimony. Students will have the opportunity to explore the process of case management from a variety of theoretical perspectives, and they also will have the opportunity to examine emerging trends. (spring) Notes: Enrollment is restricted to the College of Nursing students.
