SOWK 5202 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment II
(3 credits)Prerequisites:SOWK 5102. Offered during the second semester, this course focuses on the reciprocal relationship between individuals and large groups, organizations, and community systems from an empirically based multi-theory and multi-system perspective. Also, the course examines the ways in which social systems promote or deter people in maintaining or achieving health and well-being. Issues of values, ethics, diversity, social and economic justice, and populations at risk are infused throughout this course.
