(3 credits)Prerequisites:BSTA 5310 and EPID 5400. Chronic diseases are the major contributor to disability and death in the United States. This course covers the basic concepts of chronic disease from an epidemiologic perspective. Selected topics, including the major causes of death and disability due to chronic disease, will be covered.
