BIOL 5047 - Ecological Field Trip

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: BIOL 1110, 1120, and 1130, or equivalent; must have permission of instructor. An extended fieldoriented ecology course (approximately three weeks camping) to outstanding biomes of North America, i.e., deserts, alpine tundra, boreal forest and prairies, involving field instruction, specimen collection, identification of organisms in their natural habitats. Pre-trip and post-trip classroom sessions. Extra fees. Course can be repeated for credit with limit of three credits toward major. (summer)
