SURV 3550 - Advanced Surveying Mathematics

Prerequisites: SURV 3530 and MATH 2010. Mathematical methods used in surveying sciences, weights of observations, precision of indirectly determined quantities, error ellipses, 2-D and 3-D coordinate transformations, least squares adjustments of survey data with applications to observed data with redundant measurements, computer programming of survey adjustments. (3 semester rotation)
