CUAI 4416 - Residency I: Middle and Secondary School Curriculum, Instructional Methods, and Assessment

Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education, CUAI 4571.

Corequisites: CUAI 4426.

This course focuses on teaching and learning in middle and secondary schools and includes the study of national and state curriculum standards, research-based instructional methods, and standards-based assessment for a variety of subject areas and student needs. A concurrent field experience is required and a performance-based assessment plan is required as the major project.
