NRSE 4580 - Child Health Nursing

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: Completion of second semester junior courses.

Health promotion and illness care of children from infancy through adolescence within the framework of the family. Emphasis is placed on physical and developmental assessment, and evidence-based nursing interventions to promote or restore health. The developmental implications of hospitalization and acute, chronic, and terminal illnesses will be included.
