(4 credits)Biochemical understanding of proteins, sugars, lipids, and nucleic acids is fueling the explosion of knowledge in medicine and pharmacy. This course will demonstrate how basic principles of biochemical structure govern normal metabolic pathways in healthy humans and how they malfunction in disease.
