RHSC 3300 - Medical Classification in Rehabilitative Sciences
(3 credits)Introduction to the core terminology related to rehabilitation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, and orthopedics. Emphasis placed on coding and billing and documentation charting requirements in rehabilitation, including SOAP notes (Subjective-Objective-Assessment Plan) and use of focus charting across practice settings. Provides advanced knowledge in describing and explaining the rehabilitation process and context through laboratory experiences and onsite observations.
