AVST 5312 - Archives Conservation

Focuses on the physical nature of archival documents and their preservation, regardless of the documents’ formats. Paper, audio and videotape, film, photographic prints and negatives, and electronic formats will be studied, as will causes and prevention of deterioration, preservation microfilming, digitization, and disaster preparedness.
