(3 credits)This course covers the legal aspects of the media of mass communications: constitutional law as foundation of the right to publish; freedom of information; the right to comment; privilege, property and contractual rights; defamation; invasion of privacy; criminal responsibility in defamation, obscenity, fraud, monopoly, and contempt; administrative regulation; broadcasting and advertising.
