PHSY 1312 - Medical Physiology(11 credits) Required of all first-year medical students. This course involves the systematic study of the function of human organ systems emphasizing regulatory and compensatory mechanisms (lecture, case conferences and problem solving sessions). Introduction to cellular and molecular basis of immune responses including immune specificity, induction, and regulation of humoral and cell mediated responses is also addressed.
