CSCI 4800 - Senior Project in Information Technology(3 credits) Prerequisites: Senior status in Computer Science within two semesters of graduation.
This course is designed for the last semester of study. It is a capstone course that will enable the student to tie many of his/her learning experiences together. Students will work in teams to identify software projects on campus and in the community that can be accomplished in 15 weeks. Lectures will focus on professional issues that include the short-term and long-term future of IT strategies for finding and securing employment, nontechnical elements of professional competence, and strategies for continuing career development after college.
