ECON 2080 - Quantitative Methods for Business II(3 credits) Prerequisites: CSCI 1100 or equivalent, MATH 1530 .
This course advances the quantitative sequence begun by MATH 1530 by presenting more advanced topics in statistical inference. Topics include confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, regression and correlation, and statistical process control. This course uses spreadsheet technology to emphasize the translation of real-life business problems to appropriate statistical formats for analysis and problem solving.
