PEXS 4007 - Residency I: Elementary Physical Education Methods(3 credits) Provides instruction and experiences in program content, teaching methods, and learning styles for developmentally appropriate physical education programs for children ages 5 to 9. Emphasis will be placed on movement education, rhythm, body management, fundamental motor skills, and fitness/wellness appropriate to the kindergarten through fifth grade child. Experiences will include working with students within a public elementary school setting during class time. Admission to Teacher Education is required.
