READ 4437 - Reading Instruction in Middle and Secondary Schools
(3 credits)Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education.
This course addresses reading strategies needed for various content areas. Developmental, corrective, and remedial practices and procedures at the middle and secondary levels and the role of language in learning subject matter content is addressed. Students desiring graduate credit will have requirements beyond normal course expectations.
