SPED 4580 - Residency II Field Experience in Special Education

(9 credits)

Prerequisites: SPED 4710.

Corequisites: SPED 4581.

Prepares the teacher candidate to design, implement, and evaluate instruction and learning environments for K-12 children and youth with exceptional learning needs through a full-time 15-week supervised residency teaching experience. In addition to instructional planning, teaching, and evaluation, the teacher candidate observes model teaching and other related service provision, and engages in other professional activities related to classroom and school functions.
