ASLC 3020 - Linguistic Perspectives on ASL

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: ASLC 2010 ASLC 2020 .  

Approaches American Sign Language (ASL) from a linguistic perspective. Students examine linguistics and the application to a signed language. Students also explore language structures that are specific to signed languages, such as the use of space for grammatical purposes.
