GMED 3000 - Transitions to Clinical Clerkship

(1 credit)

Required of all third-year medical students the week prior to the first third-year clerkship.
This course is intended to prepare students for clerkships. An orientation to the year begins the week followed by three days of hands-on workshops and small group discussions centered around topics addressed and reinforced in the third-year clinical clerkships. The majority of sessions are procedure labs, simulated encounters, and hands-on workshops.
