EPID 4020 - Epidemiology Around the Globe: Disease Surveillance and Monitoring

Prerequisites: EPID 3080.

Highlights essential activities of public health disease surveillance and monitoring in the US and around the globe; introduces the procedures and methods used in disease surveillance. Topics may include collection, analysis, and presentation of surveillance data. Current examples of public health disease surveillance and monitoring are provided, discussed, and critiqued.
