CPSC 4200 - Neonatal and Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Care

(3 credits)
Prerequisites: CPSC 4100  and CPSC 4500 .

Corequisites: CPSC 4350  and ALHE 4070 .

Studies the process of growth and development associated with cardiopulmonary care from the fetus to the adolescent. Coursework includes a dialogue on the complications and risk factors associated with birth. Techniques of diagnosis and treatment of neonatal cardiopulmonary emergencies are discussed. Upon successful completion, the requirements for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program are fulfilled.
