CSCI 3020 - Database Advanced Topics(3 credits) Prerequisites: C- or better in CSCI 2020 .
Studies the use and underlying principles of database management systems, and approaches for database design with an emphasis on the relational approach including using good design techniques and implementation methods for both small and large databases and data warehouses. Laboratory use of database software for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems is an integral part of this course.
