HIST 3312 - History of Rome(3 credits) A survey of ancient Rome from its origins to the 4th century A.D., including the Regal period, the struggle of the Orders, the growth of the republic, Roman institutions, the Roman conquest of Italy, the Fall of the Republic, and the growth of autocracy, adjustments in the Empire, the early Christian church, and the culture of Rome and of its subject peoples.
