MGMT 3660 - Introduction to Project Management

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: C or better in MGMT 3100.

Addresses project management from a management perspective rather than an engineering or mathematical perspective. It deals with the basic nature of managing projects, selecting projects, initiating them, operating and controlling projects, and terminating projects. Demands made on the project manager and the nature of the manager’s interaction with the rest of the parent organization are included.
