APPE 7068 - Biomedical Communications(4 credits) Prerequisites/Corequisites: Enrollment in 4th professional year (P4).
Provides the student with an insight into the roles, responsibilities, and daily activities of pharmacists working in biomedical communications. Also provides the student with the ability to communicate biomedical information in a variety of formats to diverse audiences. The student will become familiar with the process of evaluating, distilling, and communicating clinical trial findings, writing needs assessments, creating enduring biomedical educational activities. Additionally, the student will become familiar with medical writing as a career field.
