BIOL 5157 - Biochemistry of Macromolecules Lab

Prerequisites: BIOL 1110 or equivalent and CHEM 2010 /CHEM 2011 or equivalent and CHEM 2020/ CHEM 2021 or equivalent

Corequisites: BIOL 5147

Introduces theory and use of lab instruments and techniques through a series of experiments designed to explore buffering, enzyme isolation and characterization, and DNA isolation and characterization. Experiment planning and interpretation of data generated culminates in journal-style reports. One four-hour lab per week.
