CDIS 6355 - Tinnitus Management(3 credits) Provides an overview of strategies used to qualify, quantify, and manage tinnitus. Causes and mechanisms of tinnitus generation, exacerbation, and amelioration are identified. Management and treatment approaches covered in the class include tinnitus masking, retraining, cognitive behavioral therapy, and use of pharmacological and homeopathic agents, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and various forms of neuromodulation.
