ECED 5335 - Assessing and Evaluating Young Children(3 credits) Major issues in assessing and evaluating young children (birth to age eight) are examined from a theoretical and research-based perspective. A selection of age appropriate assessment procedures will reflect an understanding of the child within the context of the family and community. Includes instruction and guided practice in the administration of formal, informal and criterion based tests.
