PSYC 5100 - Legal and Ethical Issues in Psychology

(3 credits)

This course is a seminar designed to acquaint students with the American Psychological Association’s Code of Ethical Conduct, the Tennessee Psychological Association’s Code of Ethical Conduct, and the Tennessee State Legal Code pertaining to practice and research in Psychology. A variety of ethical and legal issues will be covered in the areas of teaching, research, clinical practice, and supervision.
