SALM 5317 - Special Event Programming(3 credits) Prerequisites: Permission of instructor.
Provides in-depth knowledge of the programming, planning, implementation and evaluation of special events including sport tournaments/leagues. Topics include the theoretical foundations of special event planning, programming concepts, partnerships, sponsorship, marketing, communications, vendor management, volunteers, event research and evaluation.
