RHSC 5502 - Prosthetic Theory and Application II(4 credits) Examines more advanced concepts of prosthetic biomechanical motion control systems and methods of treatment of the lower limb (all major amputation levels) and upper limb (all major amputation levels). The course includes common and emerging prosthesis designs and systems of greater complexity as well as explores design principles, fitting techniques and includes customized molding and fabrication methods with surrogate models and patient models that possess limb loss. This is the second of two courses.
