RHSC 5800 - Advanced Technologies in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Rehabilitation(2 credits) Examines new and emerging technologies and their potential or future role for design, development and use in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Rehabilitation. Technologies examined include three dimensional modeling (scanning), additive manufacturing (3-D printing), wearable powered exoskeletons with human out-of-loop and human in-the-loop control, and concepts of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
