RHSC 5801 - Lifespan Management in Orthotics and Prosthetics(2 credits) Examines physical, emotional, cognitive, socio-cultural aspects of development from infancy throughout the lifespan and the clinical considerations of persons that require orthotic and prosthetic treatment throughout these stages of life. Theoretical, methodological and empirical issues are emphasized through the exploration of states and transitions in sensory-motor, cognitive, emotional and social development through infancy, childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood, later adulthood and the end of life.
