HSRV 5110 - Introduction to Nature Connection

(3 credits)

Explores the history and overview of nature connection, nature based therapy, and other related nature based fields. Topics may include forest bathing, forest schools, rites of passage, soul craft, vision fasts, and nature-based interventions such as horticultural, animal-assisted, wilderness-based, adventure-based, etc. Due to the nature of this course, it will be expected that students have immersive experiences in various outdoor settings.
