ARTA 5417 - Teaching Art in Elementary and Secondary Schools
(3 credits)Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education.
Studies the aims, philosophy, and curricula of the elementary and secondary school art programs. This course requires the submission of a portfolio of one’s art works to the art education faculty for review. Must be taken the fall semester prior to Residency II (student teaching).
