COMD 3002 - Underserved Medicine Clerkship

(10 credits)

Required of all third-year medical students.
This four-week experience plus a one-week health fair provide the medical student a foundational learning experience in the healthcare of underserved populations through clinical experiences with documentation of complete social, environmental and family histories, individual patient needs assessments, didactics, focused community resource assessment, and a case presentation.
