DIGM 5627 - Motion Tools II: Compositing(3 credits) Prerequisites: DIGM 2900 or permission of instructor. This course covers techniques and theory concerning motion graphics and compositing for video. Instruction is designed to bridge the gaps between 3D production rendering and final output, live action and computer-generated imagery. Work will be project-based and will provide students with short, demo-reel quality work. Though not required, skills in DVD authoring, vector-based imaging, and advanced 3D skills are helpful. (Graduate students taking this course must also take DIGM 5646 Compositing Laboratory.) (fall)
