ECED 6300 - Social and Cultural Diversity in Children and their Families

Study of the research and theories relating to social and cultural diversity in children and their families as well as practical applications for early childhood professionals working with diverse populations. This course will include self-reflection and personal analysis of bias and stereotypes and the dynamics of prejudice, discrimination, and oppression. (fall)
