PEDS 3005 - Junior Pediatrics Clerkship

(10 credits/5 weeks or 12 credits/6 weeks)

Required of all third-year medical students.
The Department of Pediatrics utilizes the Niswonger Children’s Hospital at Johnson City Medical Center for all inpatient experiences during the five or six week clerkship rotation. Students are assigned to ward, specialty and nursery rotations at Niswonger and ambulatory clinics at ETSU Physicians. All students have a two-week ward; one-week NICU; two-week ambulatory/Newborn combined; and one-week specialty rotation experiences (general pediatrics and specialty pediatrics) during their rotation.
