COUN 5110 - Social and Cultural Foundations in Counseling
(3 credits)Designed for counselors to develop competencies and awareness for working with people of diverse groups in society. The course provides opportunities to develop awareness of one’s own cultural values and biases, to study the prevalent beliefs and attitudes of different cultures, and to understand the impact of oppression on individuals.
