(3 credits)Explores the social-psychological impact of divorce on families. The economics, legal, social, emotional, co-parental, and former spouse consequences of divorce will be discussed. The various theoretical models explaining both the movement toward divorce, as well as the divorce transition, will be described. Special attention will be given to the impact of divorce on children.
