HSRV 5200 - Ethics and Social Justice

(3 credits)
Provides an understanding of ethics and social justice and how they intertwine within Individual, Family & Community Sciences to follow the Ethical Standards of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR). This course explores issues related to advocacy and social justice which are instrumental for practitioners. The history of social change is explored along with advanced perspectives in diversity and community activism. A service learning project is incorporated within this course.
