OCTH 6203 - Biomechanics and Kinesiology(3 credits) Examines biomechanics as it relates to the clinical practice of rehabilitation science disciplines. Emphasis is on mathematical clinical problem solving as it relates to forces and motions acting within or on the human body statically or dynamically; biomechanics of solids and musculoskeletal tissues; biomechanics of joint complexes of the human body; and, an introduction to the application of biomechanical scientific principles in the evaluation of the musculoskeletal system.
