OCTH 6311 - Practice Skills I- Pediatrics

Prerequisites: OCTH 6205.

Provides a foundational knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation, intervention, and outcomes for infants, children, and adolescents. Emphasis is placed on the application of theories, models of practice, and frames of reference. A variety of practice settings and service delivery models with individuals and groups are examined. The course explores family and caregiver interactions, intraprofessional, and interprofessional collaboration.
